We take all major credit or debit cards via a secure gateway. Pre-approved cash (MAD) on the day is possible for private trips.

Shared half-day tours: full pre-payment.Private or multi-day tours: 30 % deposit, balance on arrival (see invoice).

Yes—free of charge if you notify us ≥ 72 hours before the original tour and if seats are available on your new date.

  • ≥ 72 h: full refund (minus non-recoverable supplier costs).
  • 72–24 h: 50 % refund.
  • < 24 h or no-show: no refund.Marketplace bookings follow the platform’s rules
  • Yes—ask for a quote when your group has 8 + guests or you are an official student group.
  • All payments are processed through PCI-DSS-compliant gateways; we never see or store full card numbers.

2.Tour Times & Logistics

What time do Agafay Desert tours start?

  • Sunrise camel/quad: pick-up 06 :00–07 :00 (varies with season).
  • Morning adventure: pick-up 08 :30–09 :30.
  • Afternoon quad + camel (no dinner): pick-up 14 :30–16 :00.
  • Signature Sunset “Quad + Camel + Fireshow + Dinner”: pick-up 13 :45–15 :00 (earlier in winter, slightly later midsummer).

Exact slot = season + hotel location + group order; we confirm your 10- to 15-minute window by WhatsApp the evening before.

Half-day products run 6–7 hours door-to-door. Sunrise trips are ~5 hours; morning quads ~4.

Sunset dinner tours reach the city ± 21 :30. Morning and sunrise tours return around 13 :00.

We collect from any Marrakech hotel/riad. Medina properties in pedestrian alleys use the nearest car-accessible gate; we send a Google Maps pin.

Airport pick-up is free on private tours; other cities incur an extra transfer fee—ask for a quote.

3.Activities & Safety

I’ve never driven a quad - safe?

We advise against quads and camels during pregnancy; you may book a private sunset jeep visit instead.

Inform us at booking; we’ll advise on suitability or arrange adaptations. Bring medication you may need (e.g., inhaler, EpiPen).

Yes—helmets, hair nets, goggles, and in winter wind-jackets.

4.Food & Drink

Is dinner included?

If your listing title mentions “Dinner” or “Fireshow”, a full Moroccan menu (salads, tagine, couscous, dessert) plus mint tea is included. confirmation once your payment clears.

Absolutely—tell us at least 48 hours ahead.

We don’t serve alcohol on shared tours. Private groups may BYO wine/beer; corkage is free.

Yes—chilled bottled water is offered throughout the day; bring a reusable bottle if you prefer.

5.Packing & Clothing

What should I wear?

Closed shoes, light breathable clothes, sunglasses, sunscreen. Evenings can drop to 10 °C in winter—pack a jacket.

Phone/camera, portable charger, cash for tips or souvenirs, and a scarf or buff if you’re dust-sensitive

Yes—small bags may stay locked in the vehicle; large suitcases can be stored at our Marrakech base on request.

6.Children & Families

Are children allowed?

Yes—minimum age 6 for shared tours. Under-6 accepted on private tours with a child seat (we can provide).

Ages 6–11 pay 70 % of the adult rate; infants free on private trips

7.Weather & Seasonality

What happens if it rains?

Rare but possible in winter. We operate in light rain; heavy rain or sand-storm = free reschedule or full refund.

Nov–Feb evenings can be 8 – 12 °C. We supply blankets around the campfire.

8. Insurance & Liability

Do I need travel insurance?

Not compulsory but strongly recommended to cover medical costs, cancellations and personal belongings.

Yes—moroccomosaictours carries public-liability and passenger-transport insurance per Moroccan regulations.

9.Connectivity & Extras

Is there Wi-Fi in Agafay?

Signal is patchy; best to download maps and playlists offline.

Morocco restricts drones; you must apply for a special permit in advance. Illegal drone use may lead to confiscation or fines.

Our guides take free phone photos. Pro DSLR or drone footage can be arranged as an add-on—ask for a quote

English, French, Arabic by default; Spanish or Italian on request (subject to availability).

Shared tours cap at 12 guests per guide; private tours are exclusive to your party.
